The entries just say Nissan or Toyota, etc. Doesn't mean much. Piglet has a Feroza and PGS are there with the Suzuki .... The only way to really see these rigs fly is to beeee theeere ! Last year we even had do-nuts on the clay pan .. DOH! And on 1 time I turned my back and Muppet was doing clover leaf work... This year we might make that a part of the event.

Rudi and Hobzee. If there are 51 acceptances and seven on the waiting listing, what difference does it make to accept the others. Orginally Rudi said we were only going to accept 30 cars and next thing you know we have 51. Some of the guys on your waiting list have been there before and would be great to have them along. I understand with the OBC being so close to the Cliffhanger, it being only October, there will be some who drop off but surely if you take 51 another seven won't make a lot of difference. Better stop as I am ranting and raving. Gary

Yes Gaz, 57 is not much more than 50, but had we not stopped at 50 I bet we would now be nudging 80-100.

When it comes down to it at the end of May we will see how many have pulled out and how many are still on standby. If there is only a small number on standby then we may be letting them in and yes as much notice will be given as we can afford to give. So far no cancellations to date  and as soon as we have any we will open the standby gate... Rudi likens it to being a bouncer manning the door of a night club.. So we will be letting all the hot chicks in ... :D

That's good news about the standbys. Maybe we should stress to all acceptances that they must notify you or Rudi asap if not intending to attend or cannot get there vehicle ready. Suggestion that all monies be paid by end of April 2007 thereby being fully committed. Withdrawal after that date will not see a refund but the entry can be transferred to another person or used the following year. $250 deposit is not a full commitment and some will see it not as a big loss if they cannot make it but a small investment to hold a position. pmt

Post by Hobzee »

Yes the deadline for final pmt will be end of May and we will be calling for this final pmt in March to give those who are not already making monthly instalments a couple of months to round up the lolly and submit it.

I shall speak to the Doodle Meister and see what the go is with your receipts. I believe he is just about there - got a total and shows instalments or deposits paid with a balance. A receipt/statement.

GPS stands for Good Pissing Skills...

It means that when you're pissed you can still accurately determine the correct wind direction and piss away from the wind and not into it...

Never mind with those electickery gadgets everyones hanging on there dash, waste of money!

bogged

Post by Hobzee »

Not bad wheel travel doodle boy.... When we took that pic we had 4 rigs all bogged at the same time.

Just done SEMA in Vegas and saw a lot of Rohan Canavan and Cas Jones who by chance are both joining the standby list. Other greats such as Kym Bolton on that list too.

Cas is a machine when it comes to getting phone numbers off Models...

Yeah. Wait a minute. 555 is not a real number. They only use that in the movies
