I found out the bad news today. My 3 litre is buggered. no compression. Cracked cylinder. i only bought this car 15000km ago. The previous owner only serviced it at nissan for the first yr of its life then by no names after. I am gonna try with nissan but i really dont have my hopes up.
Its a 2000 GU with 190000km
Does anyone know if the zd30 auto would bolt on to a 4.2. Or is the Bellhousing different. I am unable to drive a manual unfortunately. I know in new zealand they have 4.2 GU autos, but dont know if its the same auto as the zd30 in aussie.
Is there anyone on here that has done the conversion?
Any recommendations to someone that could do it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
