What's the appeal Chips?
USD $100 + shipping isn't super cheap, there's more to go wrong for what is a very simple gauge, and it's well proven that digital only read outs are both slower to read and less useful for tracking trends and troubleshooting than and analogue gauge.
I'm not really knocking that gauge per se, but my car runs an analogue gauge and I can't really see the advantage of the digital readout - ultimately it's the same size to mount.
Not having a go, but you did ask for comments.

Oh I cant comment on how quickly it may react to changes - the gauge itself high react very very quickly, but that's part of the problem - depending on the way the electronics are set up, you might miss the issue you were trying to look for with the gauge altogether.
As an example -
The human eye is drawn to movement. In the case of a needle gauge, our eye can follow a trend very quickly, and it do it, we don't have to interperet the information - only the movement of the needle.
In the case of a readout, it might do this -
000000001111111123444657887898899989897878787878787877777 in the space of 5 seconds. Impossible to read - you'd just see a jumble of characters, but with a needle, you'd see the boost come up and then flutter easily.
I'd suggest that readouts are more suitable for specific values ( like Lambda) or readings that are slow reacting - like EGT - than trending information like boost or oil pressure.

PS if that digital gauge was just the 2 digits so it could be set into the dash where a redundant idiot light was located or something - then I could see the advantage, but as a 2" gauge, I'd go with a needle.
