Post by mikesmith »

hey guys looking to 4 link the rear of the mq.

just wondering if there are places where i can buy pre fabbed brackets for diff and chassis ends and someone in vic who could make some control arms up??

also anyone in Vic willing to do a chassis extention to it as i would like some more wheelbase while i am at it??

cheezy would be able to set you up with some links and mounts if you sort out angles etc of you could drop the car in and get it done.

why a chassis extension? if you are linkiing it you can extend the WB with no chassis extension, if it is a ute then easy as, if not some work with the grinder on the gaurds, with the front if you are keeping leaf, extend the front out a little and get the grinder out again.

also worth talking to people like 2dextreme about getting links made and sent down, it really depends on your skill etc to what you can tackle confidently and if you can get lengths etc for links and draw up mount designs
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!

hey tiny

the point of the chassis extension is to try and keep the diff in the hump of the chassis for more clearance. might just get some extra inches without the cut and extension

i have no probs welding on the brackets or links just would make life a lot easier if they were all prefabbed.

front has already been moved forward.

what wheelbase should i shoot for?? would around the 105 mark be alrite??

MQ 4 Link Brackets, these brackets have been drawn up off 4 link geometry I did in a MQ ute, and a few improvements as well.

I do have the axle brackets drawn as well, but not on this computer.
