Well I am on my way to Hobart, Tas on the 21st of November. I moving from Alberta, Canada. I will be building a rig for myself while living in Hobart and was wondering if some of you could provide me with some info.
I plan on building a lux with a tray back running on 36 or 37s and coilovers. Before I get to carried away with designing and building a link suspension I'd like to hear what you guys think of getting link suspension engineered. I will be spending most of my time in Tas but of course some travelling will be a necessity. Do any of you know of rigs with link suspension and coilovers or air shocks? (with engineer approval of course).
Thanks,
Greg

iv seen 2 luxs gettin about hobes with coils rear, ho i dunno if they are engineered. they are so damn obvious tho that i would think they woulda bin stung by the boys in blue by now if it hadnt been done properly.
if you get the right engineer on your side and you go thru all the required channels, then it should be fine.
if ya wanna hand with anything, gimmie a bell
i need some ideas for coils in my MQ

Thanks, wow first forum I have run into anyone from Hobart. Was starting to wonder if there was even anyone there...
I'm not to familiar with the nissans but I have got my mitts dirty with suspension and design, would be glad to help out. Good to meet more 4x4 folk too. By chance do you need any parts for your rig? I am about to make a couple orders from a few places and can add a few parts to the box for shipping, like Johnny joints, air shox, or even coilovers...
Let me know.
Are there any 4x4 shops in Hobart?
