loose front shocks....

Post by gotoy »

Just noticed my two front shocks are loose in the mountings. They can be turned 360 deg and rattled around a little with ease.

No problem I thought just tighten up the nuts at the end, however they are all tight to the max.

Seems my aborbers are a little too short for the mountings. No idea how long its been like this for. I did an axle change lately, same type but newer.

Any remedies?

What are the mountings?

A picture would describe it better I think!

Just a vertical mounted shock separate from the coil springs. The nuts and mountings are on each end of the shock.

OK, if they rotate, then new rubbers or nylon bushes may fix theproblem.
