Hi,

Can you blokes with turbos on 2.8 hiluxs tell me how much boost and what pyro temp you guys are running?

13psi, 380 max, probe post-turbo. Still some tuning to be done (intercooled recently).

This is with 35's and 4.3's.

Mounted the intercooler on top. It's a ebay cheapie 300x155x65 i think, but it works well. Scoop from a new hilux. Used to get up to ~440 max on 11 psi before intercooling. Oh and its a Denco kit.

Thanks mate. Thats not real high of a temp. Mine gets to 550 up the range then the coolant temp starts to rise. Does anyone have any fixes to lower the coolant temp?

add more boost without touching the fuel or turn down the fuel a bit till it hits a max of about 500 or whatever is needed to stop the car overheating. a bit of heat rise is fine but when it gets further than say when your stuck waiting in traffic etc. it is a good sign your running too rich.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
