had a great day, will certainly go to the ateco!
There was just enough wind to quickly clear the dust and started pouring down on the last stage.

A few happy snaps; sorry no action shots!

GO THE 80!

Darren being one of the zero cars certainly showed them how it was done, by my stopwatch he was the fastest of what we managed to see today.

Now this thing is scary, i think the price tag more so, but one to certainly look out for!

Would certainly love to know the placeing before tomorrows carnage.

Scott McGill was leading the way this morning, Gavin Begbie and Guido had come from 2 th spot yesterday , to 3rd today. Luke and Danny Hall (watch out for these guys) possibly will end up with a podium finish, (waiting on details).
These guys gave us the 'best' footage one could get. The last stage they just about climbed the winch wall and 'nearly' tipped over backwards. Will try and get footage on here.
Event ran smoothly, not much winching though.
Well done to all competitors and organisers. Great weekend!

Event wasn't too bad, dust on fri and sat was absolutely HORRIBLE, and yeah that wheelstand was AWESOME!!!! I just missed watching BRT and matty roll over (was it 2 or 3 times down that hill?)... bugger but at least they both ok and drove the truck home.

As for the swag and the chair, all I can say is CLEAR WINCHING! LOL yeah, it was bloody funny, just make sure when it's done that all pegs are taken out of the swag lol i made sure of that before calling it.

Well Vic Drive is over for another year, I had a great weekend overall :D

Cars mostly ran through stages nice and quick, not too many hold ups, but stages (for a winch challenge) were very poor I recon. Most teams only winched once all weekend! :?

The heat and dust was a bit much.

yesterday and last night was good fun though :D

Here's some pics, some are in dodgy quality because I was using a new camera and trying the speed shot thingy...

Had an awsome weekend. Big thanks to Chris Richter for letting me drive!
Big thanks to our sponsors. EFS suspension. Light force. Terrain tammer. F.A.T freedom automotive technologies.
Big thank you to the organisers, marshalls, caterers and the other competitos.

Having never driven the car in anger it took a whle for me to get to know the car and what i could and couldn't do so our times got better throughout the weekend.
We started Friday night with no brake booster which made things a tad awkward. Thanks to Team unlimited industries we were boosted again after 2 stages..
Good weekend.

Wicked weekend but dam that dust was bad.
Just like to say that it was well organised and i met some new people and had a ball. The food was good to as i was expecting hot dogs as i heard that was the norm.
 We only had one failure all weekend and that was a winch motor that decided to blow bits of the armeture off only one winch old to but i replaced it between stages.
Big thanx to the blackburn boys for makin me feel right at home with them cant wait to be in the navi seat with BJ next event.
He is a nutter and i think sparsky was happy when the weekend ended plenty of yelling goin on in there lol.
spewin i didnt get any pics or footage especialy when BJ headed for the moon on friday night out of the quarry and then went back down backwards very entertaining.
Anyway congrats to everyone on top weekend and especialy BJ and Sparksy with there 3rd in trophy class and a tenth overall on the first outing bring on next year

What an Awsome weekend. Had a blast.

BIG Thank you to all the competitors, organisers, marshalls, caterers, Dandy Ranges boys and spectators.

Most of all would like to thank my navi Sparksey, Blackburn4x4, UrbanRedneck for all his fabrications (expect a treadmill 4 xmas winch biatch), Big Cam (for getting the high mount running at 2:30 am fri morn), Blackburn Nissan, the rest of the pit crew and the guys who have answered all my questions throughout the Cruiser, Rangie and now GQ days (to many to mention but they know who they are).

Can't wait till the next event and count me in for the series in '08 as a carby class car(if it still exists?). Looking forward to having Urban in the passenger seat.

Would love it if anyone could send any pics of the Blackburn 4x4 white GQ shorty, car 27, to naturale_aust@hotmail.com

Cheers BJ

Watched that unfold from down the bottom of the hill. It certainly looked like he was going to come down or go over from down there. Not a position you would opt for but they capitalised on it. They did good.
