Here's a jacked up X90... i knew they were meant to be just a vitara with a different body - but it definately has a different look to it once you put some nice rubber under it:

p.s. Hey Luis - you could get you car looking a fair bit like that (except for the ute body of course )

I'd seen that particular page before and even considered an X90 when I was car-hunting, but I travel a lot with both my parents so 2 seats were insufficient and I found no way of convincing dad that the boot was comfortable...
You can find X90's for under a million $ these days! (around 13,000)... much less than a GV on 15"s
As for the suspension work, man, the work on that IFS looks expensive (as do the tyres)... and yes, I'm slowly converting to the dark side... just not a hell of a lot of $$ to do it...
But yes, it's amazing what big tyres and a lift can do to a car... looks awesome, but even a front-wheel drive Charade would look "half-capable" with that sort of investment on tyres and suspension (I said "look")!

Did you mean something like this? (excuse the lack of effort in the graphics... it's not meant to look REAL!)

looks like about 2-3" of wheel travel before the tyres hit their dead center on the guards. Looks like a bit of rolling of the guards/major panel work would be needed before you could take it anywhere off Toorak Rd.
George Carlin, an American Comedian said; "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise that half of them are stupider than that".
