yes and no....

depends on how you get along with them and what mood they are in...

they do great work but sometimes just get lazy and stuff it up... watch the warranty..

ive heard good things about gympie as well and talking to him he seems to know what he's on about. if all your after is a big hp readout chapmans are good for that but if your after economy or reliabity dont bother plus they take about a week to return your phone call just to book it in
alan blair auto in noosa have a dyno, but they will only tune na petrol, mostly v8's as they only stick with what they know

my mate ownes a mechanic shop in pomona and he took his td 80 series there and said they were awesome. they cleaned the injectors and made it a shitload better both in power and fuel economy. Can't remember the dyno fiqures but it was pretty good.

i live in Pomona :D i might have to go up and have a chat to the gympie guys. definitely NOT going to chapmans, with the stories i hear lately. they tuned my tb42 and did alright, but replaced a lot of shit i didnt think was necessary. but not taking my diesel there.

i have also had bad experiences with chapmans, they can get good power figures but forget reliability or economy.

Gympie dyno is actually a diesel fitter so should know what he is doing.

hmm...the only thing about warren is how far away he is. i may just take it to gympie and have a chat to them first, get to know what they know. but whatever i decide ill let you all know who and how it went. in the meantime, keep the opinions coming.
