thanks for that
I was told that the rover fc101 was the same/similar as my jeep but there clearly not.
and as i thought any military club would have nothing as it is not old enough.
I'll keep searching.

i've never seen or even heard of a jeep FC but after a quick bit of research, they look like an interesting vehicle... Congrats on having one ... hope to see it out on the street one day
You probably should contact the Military Jeep club... they had their annual swap meet at canungra a month back.

i have contacted them, as well as other like it, but its not old enough.
there realy rear in australia i spoke to the historic commercial vehicle association at the cleveland show grounds earlier this year most there had never heard of one and when i told them my plans they didn't want to know me as they said it should stay standed i saved it from going to scrap so any thing from there is an improvment. if i build it i want to use it whats wrong with a LPG dedicated SBC t400 in a work truck with 35's, and an crew cab so i have a back seat.
at present it runs 31's spoa dana 44 front and dana 70 with 4.88 it has a ford 250 pre cross flow, no sincro 3sp dana 18 transfer the weakest link is the transfer and the 3sp sux it has a similar wheel base to a gq and wieghs around 1700kg so a sbc would do it justice.
