Just trying to keep up with u Darren but ive got along way to go to get to where u are, i've been looking at other businesses , i've heard that the wrecking industry is the way to go if u want to drive serious toys, greengrocers can only affor to take their toys out to play a few times a year, apparently if u want to race trucks competitively all through the year like yourself and be able to afford to fix it when broken i'm going to need to change profession.Any work available Darren?

This is funny. Krimnl has a sign at his shop. We match any local green grocers prices. Has been there as long as I can remember.

Dave White will also be returning in the 100" Defender for 2008, with myself, his good lady wife, in the navigator's seat this time around.

Neil Redpath and Patrick Smart in the Ibex will also be competing again in 2008. There is likely to be at least one more UK entry in our travelling party, so plenty of Brits around for the 10th Anniversary!

Yes Mal....we are believe or not and it's g8 to see u back too....you know how it is....gets under your skin....but the 10th next yr. which is our 9th is def. our last. Which I think will be the case with a lot of the 'oldies'.

We've also helping organise the charity 4x4 run "Drive4Life" to the High Country again in April and this time our target is 100 vehicles, so if you know of anyone who has a week free and 1,000 bux for Northcott's Cripple Children/their motorized wheelchairs and fancies a super tag-along trip with like minded 4wheelers, spread the word.....
and then Cliffhanger in July as well.

Eugene is busy cutting his lwb Nissan down to trayback/comp ready.....so we might use it instead of the SWB....we'll see. It's going to have heaps more space......and I prefer the wheelbase too, thou it is a big truck for those tight courses.....I enjoyed competing in it at the 1st Cliffhanger in 05 out at Whitecliffs.

The South Aussies will be there again as part of Rangie Racing. Just got over the Alpine Challenge where we teamed up with Barry and Sue Parker and had a great time. Fanastic event. Like a number of competitors in OBC 08 will be fronting up to the Cliffhanger six weeks later if the rig stays true. Gary

Hey Mal

Dave Rowlins (Rowley) mechanic at T4 could be interested, he can use a GPS and is a good mechanic ? not sure how he is on Rovers though.
He was navi in the 2005 OBC and has competed in the 8 day Xtreme.
Might be worthwhile giving him a call.

Laurie.

now nominated, will be alot of sleepless nights for the next 5 and a half months getting the shorty ready, all i need is to do is find one of me mates and convince them to sit in the car with me for a week and that i wont kill them, that will be harder than getting the car ready, considering in 3 comps been through 4 navi's only one will get back in the car with me but he up and moved to W.A.
should be fun though.
