Give away - Adelaide!

Post by murcod »

Some free stuff for anyone in Adelaide to pick up:

-> Set of rear leaf springs (Dobinson) to suit an F300 Feroza, I think they might also suit some Rockys? They will raise it slightly and are firmer. I've taken the smallest leaf out of the pack to make the ride more compliant (with it fitted the ride was ridiculous  ) They've got polyurethane bushes fitted in the spring eyes.

-> Feroza radiator to suit around 92 model. Removed when "working" due to me thinking it was the cause of overheating issues. The new radiator was a bit better, but not by much. Free once again, most of the fins are in good condition. The top tank has had a previous repair done but doesn't leak.

Should have asked first up.

I'm getting my bro in laws roza (same as you, needs a more family friendly car) It's a 93 sxpII

So will those rear springs you got suit it or not seeing as it's the WT?
Also is there much difference between the standard springs in it compared to the ones you'v got?

Sorry about the questions I'm as green as they come when it comes to knowing anything about 4x4's

Cheers

What part of adelaide are you at?

Got a mate who lives down there and comes to syd regularly so if you're local to him I might see what I can do...

It might fit a '93 if it's got the old style front end? I'll take some pics sometime- remind tomorrow might me if I forget as I'm pretty busy lately.

Pics of the radiator (covered in dust and spider's webs...) and the leaf springs:

I've also found a spare set of ignition leads and a full used distributor. I'd like $85 for the distributor and will throw the leads in as well. The distributor comes complete with cap, rotor etc. and works perfectly. I got it when I was looking into progammable ignition (but that never happened.) A cap alone is over $55 new from Daihatsu...

The springs are gone. There's still a radiator- works well, no leaks.... it would be a shame to bin it! :?
