NM/NP will take 285/75-16 (approx 33x11) with a 2" suspension lift. I think there's a couple of kits out there which nominally give a 3" lift, but I think beyond that gets quite tricky.

I think there's a kit available in Japan which lifts the body with respect to the sub-frames - the closest you can get to a body lift with a monocoque chassis. I have NFI about the price, and I've not heard of anybody bringing one to Australia.

I have a Swb NS pajero and have installed a lovells heavy duty kit. Overall I achieved 80-85mm (3.5inches) of lift. Bit high for my liking but has settled over time as I carry and tow a fair bit of weight. 33's fit easily and so far I am very impressed with the ride and handling improvements.

so far so good. I havent given them a huge workout yet. Only been installed for about 5000kms. ride quality improved and stiffened it up through corners. I am happy with the result and would not hesitate to install them again in another vehicle.

I carry a fair bit of weight and tow regularly. The coils are perfect for my application and the ride is excellent. Definately has improved once they settled in. I think it sits about 60-65mm over standard height now.

This thread is about the NP - NS that don't have the chassis

And 5 inch body lift looks mighty dangerous to me.......

There is a 2" body lift for the Gen 3 monocoque chassis ex Japan.
Pretty pricey at over $2500Aus and I don't know of anyone who has imported one so there are no reports.

I gues with that and a 2" suspension lift you will get a genuine 4" lift all up.

No pics with the 33's. I had to try some for a couple reasons. I wanted to verify that 16's fit over the front brakes, despite all the contrary opinions and that there was ample clearance. So, my 2nd set of wheels will be 285/75/16s.

Havent used the paj much lately, done about 500kms in the last 6 weeks. Extremely fuel efficient..... went 6 weeks on a tank of fuel :D

Plans are still to wack on arb bar, lights, long range tank, front arb locker and then do some travelling in it.

Its been a great car, just about 12 months old and 20000kms later with no real major hiccups. My only issue is the over supply of them in Oz, and lack of dealer sales has plumeted the price on them.
