Magellan Crossover GPS

Post by buddha »

Just wanting to know has anybody bought this gps yet and are you happy with it.
A mate has just got 1 but hasnt done too much with it yet apart from switch the street navigation over to the topo tracks and seems to have the goods.
I would like to do a couple of Navruns next year and am looking at this model as im pretty sure you can put in latitude and longtitude co-ordinates, its easy to read and touchscreen.

yeah i have one and it is really good to use yes you can put lat.long on them the only issue i ave ever had was doing the logan challenge it wasn't overly quick to go from putting the point in and taking off.in saying that i bought it two weeks before the challeng and had no practice using the gps side of things before it.so yes it is really good for all aspects just make sure you suss it out before any navruns i guess

I do not believe these have NEMA ability so you cannot connent to computer and operate in real time.......

I do not have one, but was told this by a mate who is a magellan rep. He suggest the new Triton model (look in the latest 4WD action mag for a ad).
