OK, now for the most challenging question of all time:
How do I reduce the rattle of the driver and passenger door latch against the strikiing pin. Unlike other vehicles, there is no extra support to hold the door; just the latch. And with a bit of wear, and a bumby road, rattle, rattle...

i had the same problem.
for a while it was fixed by adjusting the height of the latch on the door. just mildly unscrew it with a philips and adjust it until you find the sweet spot. you may need to fix it every so often...
or, if you don't use the door much, a bit of electrical tape around the latch will fix it perfectly.

Sometimes the reason the doors rattle at the latch is because it has movement at the hinges. The hinges have plastic sleeves that wear out. You can knock the pins out of the hinges (with a dift or centre punch) and and replace the plastic sleeves with knew ones. Put the pins back in. No more movement. No more rattle.
While you are at it, the bonnet hinges have the same sleeves and the same problem - you just cant hear it as easily.
A company called Croc Country sells the replacement sleeves - I get em from my local wrecker.
