A Photographic Tribute To My Old FJ55
Whille the FJ55 topic is fresh this week I thought I might share some of the places I have been and driven with the old girl.
May she rest in piece....... some where in the recycling steel pile at Terry Hills tip.
I sold her off in pieces due to the not so sudden onslaught of cancer but the body was beyond any form of keimo or any new age drug.
The '55 era was back around '93 when we thought we where the sh*t cos we had 33" mudders. (Though I still run 33"s on the Surf).

GO the 80...The mods have started :-)
Being an electrician, the welding skills where not up to scratch.
It had rust in the chassis, all around the roof, the floor pans and the doors where also shot.
I ended up selling it in pieces for more than I bought it for. Every one that came to look at buying it allways got scared off by all the mods.
Pity, cause it was a damn fun car.
Only parts I kept was the stereo, the 33's and the air locker. They moved onto the newer toy a nice shiney 60 with a 308. (Then shortly after a stroker - 383 oh yeah !)
