crossover HELP please.

Post by TOYTRUK »

hi all, i have used a 75 series drag link for the crossover steering in my 85 4runner. on the drivers side i have a hilux tie rod end and an 8o series pitman arm . my problem is the passenger side.
the ori double arm i have accepts the hilux/80 series balljoint taper .
i cant seem to find a short tie rod end that will fit the draglink. the standard hilux pass. side ones are too long (approx. 6.5 inches).the dia. of the threaded section of the 75/80 series ones are too large.
does anyone out there have a solution?? thanks.

Used 75 series arms for crossover, from memory it was 80 series ends that i used for the draglink ends.
Just search the auto shop for ones with the right size threads.
