1HZ aftermarket turbo kits

Post by hzj75 »

Just wondering as to which turbo kit is the best in the way of offroad preformance, I know this has probably been covered before elsewhere but peoples opinions would be great, expecially as im looking at running 36" tyres eventually

Denco
DTS
AXT
Safari
CAPA
Turbo-Glide

dts and capa are the same kits. IMO there all going to be much the same, 3" exhaust helps allot gets the turbo boosting sooner and lets them rev. Denco apparently boost very low but dont have the top end as the other kits. to really make it go well look at custom with a ball bearing turbo....

dynamic turbo(mtq engine systems) in laverton. i think they're the only ones who use mitsubishi turbos. apparently heaps better quality than garrett. but i'm not a diesel mech so i'm only relying on opinions but it was good enough info to talk me into it. i've had one on my 1hz for years no probs.
