Hey , got your message

Checked out tracks 2 and 29 - 42 , didnt get to the rest but will with the jimny tomorrow if it drys out a bit. I rebuilt the center shaft with a new CV and will put it back in tomorrow so all is good. Was very wet up the top of the park in the troal , lots of fun. Only 2 trees to cut on 38 and the lower part of 2. They will be ok til Sat arvie or Sun.

Andy from one of the southsides 4wd recovery co's has offered a hand , he is trying to get a machine that will make clearing track 3 a breeze then we can have some real fun. Linc is now not coming Sat , he has to work.

I have closed track 4 and will close 28 tomorrow and we can get stuck into track 3. 14 and 27 are almost non-existant but if someone wants an extreme creek run I will leave them open.

Dont worry about the cow she is off the road , still down , but looking more perky. Maybe she has mad cow disease. lol , she was certainly mad.

See you all in the morning

Ok peoples this easy going event is still on the table.

15th and 16th of DECEMBER

Creek run (Rock crawling)

Close to 3km long (1.5 up and 1.5 back in my best estimate)

Come one come all , but you will need a tough truck or a buggy to complete the course.

No rules , winching allowed , drive it to the end and be classed as a finisher, self recovery and equipment required , work as a team , whatever you like , its all for fun.

Its not timed , and if you climb the waterfall then you deserve a cheer.

There are limited Spectator access points but all are welcome to watch. (No walking on the course during the event.)

Sat 15th Dec - come set up camp , recee the course and have fun round the camp fire.

Sun 16th Dec , cars start at 9am in 2 min intivals. The creek is up to 10m wide in places and splits in several spots into 2 creeks so passing on the return run will not be an issue. There are many lines , but if you catch up to someone who is stuck then you choose another line or wait. Remember its just for fun and not a race , like a day trip at Ormeau.

PRICES , All those competeing $$ FREE $$ (no playing elsewhere in the park without permission) Spectators - $$ normal day trip prices $25 1 x Adult $30 2 x Adults $35 full car , kids free

Please Phone 0424568886 for bookings.

Compeditors must nominate at time of booking

Cheers all

have fun

Hey all , sorry just got home from funeral in NSW.

This event will happen with one or 21 cars either way cause its all for fun.

So far I have 6 interested parties incl 2 from NSW.

The track is up the main creek (not a hill climb) and starts with the stage 2 we ran at the last nite run and keeps on going til you cant go any further. Then you turn around and come back down. We eventually will have a permanant track put in so this is a virgin run and probably the only time you will be able to tackle all the creek as we will be preserving its beauty and limiting access after the 16th. In all I believe the first waterfall is 1.5km up the creek , so if you make it it will be close to 3km round trip.

cheers

We are walking the track with 3 saws this weekend , but as you can see from the pics the floods have done most of the work for us. You are welcome to lend a hand if you want , but we shouldnt need to do any pruning on the 16th unless you get horribly stuck.

I might add that the only thing that will put a holt to the event is rain , for obvious reasons.

Hey all

We are getting a decent shower of rain now. Its the first rain we have seen for at least a week. It seems everyone else gets it and not us. It will not effect the running of the event. Only a Storm or big dump of rain on Sat or if its predicted Sun , will things be affected.

The event Will go ahead on This Sun , starting at 9am. Our new office is on Swan Gully Rd , Bromelton , UBD 331 D12. There is truck and trailer parking near our office and its suggested to book in no later than 8:30 to give you time to be at Drivers Briefing. There will be no formal Scrutineering as this is like a day run and not timed or compedative. You choose your lines and pit yourself against one another. Please allow time for you to prepare your truck and be at Drivers Briefing At CampGround 1 at 9am exactly. We will take things from there. Have fun.

Yes , Please , You need to ring and confirm your arrival time , office hours are 8am to 11am , if you arrive early or after those times and dont book then you may have to wait for me to come back to the office.

NOTE ALL SAFETY GEAR SHOULD BE WORN , GLOVES , HELMETS , SEATBELTS , WINDOW NETS IF YOU HAVE THEM.

SPECTATORS please ware appropriate shoes and attire as you may wish to walk up the creek to watch , there is limited access and parking. There will be NO food or drinks on sale in the park so please bring your own from home or town. ACTION STARTS 9am SUN.............

Awesome day guys.

Sorry I had to duck away , had an issue in the park to attend to.

Glad you all got out without too much carnage. Some very good driving.

I cant wait to get the tracks there finished so you can keep going up and around the waterfalls and exit the creek at the top.

Thanks for the pics , Some top ones there Rolly (just a few). Hopefully some of the other pics and vids from the Superior crew will surface soon.

Thanks for coming and having fun.
