What rims do you use?
Anyone with a rocky running f100 rims?
What size tyres you got on them?
Do the stick out at all from the side of the car?
I want to get as much of an offset as i can at the lowest price possible, ha ha.

Got 2 sets both 15x7
1 are performance (challenger) wheels alloy globe copies with A/T tyres
The other are steel Speedy wheels with MUD tyres.
The steel wheels have a better off set and dont rub and the alloys rub on the leafs on full lock runnin 10.50R 31s.

I am running 15x8" King Steelies with -23mm offset.
They JUST sit inside the flares (And I have the huge flares too).
I also had 15x8" -28mm wheels on one day (Thanks Layto) with 32x11.5" swampers on them. They sat perfect if not a few mm past the guard.
Looked horn though

Righto then...
There seems to be a fair range of wheels for us.
How about this... Does anyone know what the standard rim offset is and what the biggest negative (This puts the wheel out wider yes?) offset is?

The largest off the shelf is a -28mm Speedy Desert Rat, in 15x8".
I bought King -23mm's, as they were available in black.
I'm pretty sure an equivalent to stock rim is a 0mm offset 15x8". (Well, that's for an F78 anyway )

-23 isnt bad... From my measurements I think the ones on there currently are -14ish.
Anyone happen to know what a -28mm rim goes for... I'll probably have to call around to find out but if anyone knows it'd be awesome to get an idea.

heres another train of thought with everyone talking about offsets ..tyre width etc .. what about weight??? Ive been systtamatically lightening my feroza since purchasing it (so far I have shaved almost 370kg off it) that 370kg has made a huge differance to where I can go ... Im like the Zook boys i litrally sit on top of the mud these days and with less weight the stupid little 1600cc motor has a lot more power and my winch can pull me out of things a lot easier. one thing that saved a shit load of weight was ditching the steel standard rims and going to alloys, which the same tyres on (I just swapped them over) the alloys came in at a wopping 10kg lighter ... not much you think .. but over 5 tyres thats 50kg or almost the same weight as a full fuel tank! ...
My plan is to put my Feroza on a diet until shes a healthy 1200kg (80kg to go
cheers Meece

Im running out of things to removeguido1985 wrote:I put mine over the scales when i got it it was 1000kg within 5kg and normally i turn out the rear seat and the big tool box. makes a big difference to what you can do i must admit.

Rims, argh too many to mention, what with 2 Rockys, 1 Suzuki, 3 wrecks, and 2 trailers all running Rocky rims, and about 4-5 complete sets of spares, I have a wide selection.
My Rocky normally runs 7 inch ROH steels with 235-75R 15 BFG's, and 8 inch Globe mags with Simex Centipede MT's for play. I also have another complete set of 5 8 inch mags fitted with 3/4 worn MTR's which came on a parts car.
Interestingly, while at the tip recently, dumping some steel, I saw 1, then 3, and with a bit of seraching, 4 wide steel wheels, and they mysteriously found their way into my trailer. Need a good clean up, and I havent had time to really look at them, but they are definately wider that the 8's, so I assume they may be 10's. They may end up with a wide set of play tyres on them.

Mud makes excellent toothpaste.
