G'day i got some 8 inch longer 50 mm wide springs that i found of a wrecked ute out in the bush maybe datsun but not sure...
I'm fitting them to the rear of my swb w/t and am wondering if anyone else has ever moved the front mount forwards a few inches to accomodate longer springs. These springs will keep the axle in the same position because they are offset 500mm/ 700mm roughly and i dont want to extend the chassis to the rear because of departure angle and i'd have to remake rear bar mounts etc.
Anyone with some advice/pics? Greatly appreciated

Yup i've put the rears up the front but i've only redrilled the spring mounts for that, no chassis extension
Thats a neat little system Nic how has it stood up to being driven on? no flex in the mounts etc? I might have a look at making something similiar up this weekend
