death wobbles

Post by dkne5 »

Hi all,I have a 02 gu wagon,I have a 2'' lift fitted, because the rear sags while towing and weight of gear i've added a pair of 30mm spacers to the rear.

Now I have a death wobble evident thru the steering wheel beetween 85-95k's an hour.

It's only evident at these speeds, any ideas if this is the cause or something else.?????????.

No wobble was evident before the fitting of coil spacers,so it does point to these being the cause however i'm more concerned as to why.

Thanks in advance,

remove coil spacers and see if it goes away or if something else has been damaged/at fault before spending/worrying

few threads on it in the past, generally bushes/caster etc.

Angle of your castor bushes?
Have you had a wheel alignment?balance?
I put 3inch in my GU wagon with 3 degree castor bushes, then
got a wheel alignment and turned out to be spot on.
Drives perfect :D
