HZJ75 headlight switch disassembly.

Post by Dane »

I have traced my headlight problems to the switch inside the indicator stalk that operates the headlight power relay. The switch asessembly looks like it does not come apart. Has anyone pulled these apart to clean the switch contacts before? If so, how does it come apart? A new one from Toyota is $150 and I am sure it is just dirty.

Thanks.

Buy a non genuine one from Auto hardware on the sunny coast.
Ring Mick. 0403245326. I think he is heading up to rocky as we speak. They deliver anywhere in OZ.
Or buy a second hand one. I wouldnt bother trying to fix it. I would also relay your headlights up, high and low, if you havent already.
Cheers.
Dave.
