what does everyone think of these? the price is unbelieveable but i question the quailty over an off the shlf kit 3 or 4 times more expensive.

cheap water-air intercoolers

For an intercooler to work properly it must have about 1psi pressure drop otherwise there won't be enough surface contact to cool the air. That kit claims 0.05psi drop which won't work!
93 Nissan Pathfinder / Terrano Turboed VH45, GQ Trans and T-case, coil overs, hydraulic winch and fair bit of other stuff. (Currently a pile of parts in the workshop)
One of those thats hard to say I have just built my own that has a 2% pressure drop but the style of cores is very different in mine.
At the price it looks just too good and the pump does not look up to the job either.

With a low pressure drop across the unit you have to wonder how much surface area is available and what's the temperature drop across the unit ?
And the pump doesn't look much to me either. The Bosch ones PWR and others use are designed for hot water and use magnetically driven impellers so there is no shaft seal to leak or wear out.

I have one of those, but XSPower brand. Same design, the measurements on mine match the "600hp model".
I think their power ratings are a little optimistic, probably based on a big capacity V8 with minimal boost.
If like me you're running more boost then their ratings don't mean squat.
I haven't hooked mine up yet. Shame on me.
