Questions About D22 Navara

Post by deerndingo »

Hi All,
Just bought an 05, DX, twin cab Navara ute.

1. No bumper bars front or rear at the moment. Went down to ARB and scared the s..t out of myself. I'm in SE QLD. Any tips on someone that makes a decent front bar for less than a house mortgage.

Thanks in advance

Does you Nav have airbags. If so you must use an airbag compatible bar. It is both dangerous and illegal to have a non-compatible bar on an SRS equiped vehicle. This is probably the reason the price is so steep, but ARB are always pretty $$$$.

as said, the airbag gig and apprval shit they need to go thru to get the airbag approval wouldnt be cheap, which is one reason they are the price they are.. most arb bars are round a grand.

same as OL, TJM etc.

Your in an expensive hobby now.
