Driveline oil recommendations

Post by schuler »

Just after feedback on what oils you all use and recommend for G'Box, Transfer and diffs, i'm running 380, 230 and maxi drives.

Also when i had the swivels rotated, LRA used an oil product, like a straight fortifier in the swivels, anyone do this? Andrew said it was far better than grease as if you broke a stub alxe, it is very easy to drain the oil along with the broken metal and refill out in the tracks, seems like a logical conclusion!

Not long to go now before it is going, it's down at the fabricators getting rear bar installed, custom front bar, all the engine accessories mounted :D

Hopefully comes back just after x-mas so the sparky can finish the wiring, then i need to choose some shocks, do some minor stuff and hopefully she is done

Cheers
