That would certainly explain you success with cooling. Some of us are
trying to fit a heavy duty radiator ( 3 row ), transcooler, oil cooler and
intercooler radiator ( air to water system ) all up the front - without
much success I must say......

2 of our members /@feroza philippines used a

mazda engine from a mazdea b2200 pickup also fits
tranny will be matic, no more 4wd
16km/liter
quite a successful conversion

It's not 4wd anymore :(

Paid 500 for the fairmont and have sold bits for nearly 1k
Paid 250 for the Feroza and sold motor/box for 650
I'm still ahead on the whole project :)

SAWSALL - for those sort of dollars it hardly matters what sort of outcome you get but no 4WD ?
