1 litre body onto 1.3 chassis
1 litre body onto 1.3 chassis
bought a 1 litre seirra in mint condition about a month ago ,i mite have the chance to buy a rolling 1.3 engine and chassis would the 1L BODY swap over onto the 1.3 chassis without much drama. cheers ron

You don't say if the 1.3 is NT or WT.....
I beleive if you fit a 2" body lift it will bolt up.
The 1.3 driveline is bigger and needs the lift to clear the trans tunnel.
Using a 1.3 wiring loom if you can get one will help too.
I think the one litres only had 8 body mounts whereas the 1.3's have ten. this shouldn't be a prob though as they are in the same places.
Little things like handbrake cable may be fiddly.
If you have the time, it would be good if you could take pics and notes and then you can do a write up for the 'bible' so it's easier for the next guy.
