I want a new set of rear springs to go in the front but I DON'T want the same brand as I have now. Too stiff even with leaves pulled and no military wrap.
Can anyone tell me which manufacturer these came from so I don't buy the same again?
I think they look a bit like old king springs part numbers, but my catalogue doesn't have a SUZ-05E. Maybe they have since changed them all to the SUZ-00* system??

Why???. I want new springs. (with military wrap 2nd leaf)
the springs you have are made by Carrol springs,, aparently they are suposed to be the EFS easy rider??
I fell into the cheap and nasty bracket and bought them off this guy http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SUZUKI-SIERRA-SA ... dZViewItem
he buys them off Carrol Springs... sells them on e-bay and also exports them
stiffest Blo^dy springs I have found I say
my springs have the same sierial numbers on them
its printed backwards!
23/12/05 cs is for Carrol Springs
I hate going to weddings because all the grandma's used to poke me in the ribs saying you're next, you're next. They've stopped doing it since I started doing it to them at funerals.
yeah he has 2 sets available, easy rider and the heavy load ones,
the add I found is just so he know who I mean,
the add is for the heavy duty ones
but even the "easy rider's" are stiff as buggery
this is how I found out carrol springs made them,
I asked the guy I bought them off if he could help me out and he told me he buys them off C/S
they sugested to take a leaf out!??

i dont think you will find any rear springs that have a military wrap 2nd leaf. I had to make my own using a drilled out front military leaf.
are you sure its the leaves making the ride stiff? shocks can give similar effect. personally i dont use gas shocks as they are too hard. Get some that are designed for a leaf suspension.
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.
I have tried to drive mine without the shocks in it and the ride is slightly better, the bumps only reach my 5 vertabre not my 3rd
I have spoken to city suspension about the conversion and they said they will help anyway they can with the shocks.
I will be doing a ruf conversion on mine in the next week and I will be using standard rears with extended shackles, if the standard ones sit to flat I will get them reset to suit the lift needed!
