been havin an arguement with a mate about deisel engines. Hopefully you educated people can clear it up. is there an all alloy 4cly deisel engine? and if so out of what?

I think they're coated bores rather than liners, but it's hard to see exactly.

Those days most engines are made out of alloy, they just use steel cylinders for the pistions to slot into.

wanna bore it out? simply chnage thickness of the steel cylinder.

i was right for a change. now i just need to get a focus deisel enging for the zook.

Y does it need to be alloy?

I have a 2.8D from a rocky + a turbo lying around ;) Not alloy though.
