when i mount the soli\niod for the diff lock will it be ok monted under the car on my air tank or put up under the bonnet as under the car is often covered in mud

i wood get them up under the bonnet if possible and as far away from any mud/water as u can... otherwise the outlets can get clogged and then the air wont come out therefore the locker wont disengage

you can always run a hose off the vent outlet to somewhere more protected if you really want to put them under there...

A small manifold block is only gunna cost about $12 and a couple of bucks worth of hose will put it up under the bonnet. You can then run other bits and pieces out of the spare holes in the manifold.

Pretty cheap insurance if you ask me ...
