Hey guys just after a little bit of advice. Iam building a winch bar to suit a high mount winch for my GU ute. I was looking at mounting the winch as low as possible in between the chassis rails so as to pull with the strengh of the chassis. Has anyone had any experience with mounting the winch any higher. I dont want to mount it to low because of the approach angle. But i also do not want to put extra pressure on the chassis by mounting it higher i beleive it will bend the chassis if mounted above it.
Thanks for the advice
Cheers Brownie
