It will depend if Rover Park still wants to have them there, and also if Dave & Greg are running their event.

So at the moment unknown.

Cheers

the jungle roo will be there if i get it back in time. It has no brakes at the moment, went to rfc with all new pads and roters, wore the pads out in 8 days, how harsh is the mud over there? Change all the oils and give it the once over on the hoist. Should have 2 weeks{one week end} to do this, should be enough time

dave, herd a roomer that at the next winch comp, you were going to
put in a G-P-S stage!!!!! Is this true????? or just a rooomer ?????
AS WE THAUGHT THIS WAS A EXTREME WINCH CHALLENGE !!!!!!!!!
not a nav run or gps comp I agree with having gps in the 8DAY or
selected gps/nav runs,,but not a winch comp..this is just making,
people have to buy somthing else, we thaught you were starting to limit
what vechicles had at a winch comp to make it a more even playing field

Yes it is true, you will require a GPS and yes it is a winch challenge.

But as time goes on, one has to find new ideas to keep it interesting, so that is why now at an Xtreme expect one GPS SS with possible winching.

Mate I picked up a handheld GPS for $85 the other day, or take the GPS out of your wifes car, she will not miss it for the weekend, or if all else fails DNS that stage.

I think that most people who own a 4WD and get out in the bush they already own a GPS, so I do not see any problems apart from people not being able to use them.

After all you don't have to worry as you own a GPS all you have to do now is enter an Xtreme Winch Challenge, they have changed a lot since you last entered one.

The XWC is the first and only winch challenge event that has a class for the standard type of comp vehicle, (yours would not get in) so as they also compete against the open class it is very even. Some vehicle restrictions are being changed, these are listed in the new rule book. This will see a few more vehicles able to go into the Xtreme Class, which will make better competition for them.

No I cannot see any super long speed stages coming into the XWC after all it is a "Winch Challenge"
