Rattle inside GU hood lining

I recently purchased a used GU with an Outback roof console fitted. There is an annoying rattle coming from the hood lining right beside the drivers sun visor. Does anyone have any experience of what it might be or how to fix it? As I didn't fit the console I am unsure about how it removes and when I did try I struggled with what I assumed were the front mounting screws. Any help would be appreciated.

theres screws in where teh glasses holder goes, fuckin pain in the arse, and some at the rear where the interior goes...

how many did you undo?

the rear ones came out no worries but the front's were a pain to get to and didn't seem to be coming out so I didn't want to strip them or bugger it up. Wasn't sure if it was going to do what I wanted but i'll give it another go.
