Well the cop blitz got me but not for drink driving, i leave that to the 4WD tracks, need liquid courage a few times out there
Today the cops asked for a Engineers Certificate, oops haven't been able to find a place to do it yet, so now i guess is the time
its a 7" Lifted GQ with King Springs and 33" tyres and i need to know if there are any good engineers around Newcastle that don't charge an arm and a leg for a certificate.
Try this site. If it dont work follow prompts there is a full list of engineers the rta recognises, you need to use one of these guys or your engineer report aint worth the paper its written on to them.
Well he passed my ol shorty , 5" springs 2" body ......I had 315's for road dutys ....also passed the 4 link rear ......but this was also b4 his prices raised due to the rules changing, and more paper wrk being needed etc spring rates each corner weights etc etc etc ....... I will be heading there soon to get the VIT looked @ well passed
so in the end Id say MYGQ would of got through fine as long as the headlight height was acceptable ......
MyGQ wrote:It passed with the 7" lift and 35" tyres
now i have to look at what the next step if after he posts out my certificate
You just need to get the truck weighed, get a blue slip and take that paper work along with your engineers certificate to the RTA and your you home free.
