ets or creepys?
what do u think is a better tyres for mud rocky shail hill climbs and clay? the simex extream trecker 2 or the maxxis creepy crawler?
IF YOU OVER TAKE ME I WILL FOLLOW YOU HOME AND S*#T IN YOUR SLIPPERS
Not to sure about the whole sidewall comment
Drove mine basically flat all through rocks/mud/fallen trees etc and never got a puncture let alone a sidewall.
ET's are the ducks nuts for anything resembling mud
. And IMO work well on rocks. Maybe not as good as some other's but good enough.
Having said that, I'll be going TSL's or LTB's when have the money for my next set of toy tires, as their cheaper, and many say better than ET's.

60 + Turbo, 33"s
But mickey and Maxxis don't cater for "real" trucks like zooks :p For some reason they think only people wanting 35's or larger actually need a tough bias tyre. Simex have that covered thankfully.love_mud wrote:Bias or radial .. the Bias claws have a rep for being a very tough tyre.mule75 wrote: i've shreded baja claws though.
it depends if you have the poewr to turn them..
if u do then id say simex.
kinda leaves the zook owners with the other option

So is balancing the biggest problem with the creepies?
Also heard you need wider that 8" rim as they tend to crown a bit. (The brochure says 8.5" minimun rim width)

i've run simex et2 and creepys
the simex beat the creepys hands down in the mud, but the creepy will shit on the simex in every other terrain.
so for victoria i'd say go vic, for the rest of aus go maxxis.
also the maxxis should be mounted on heavy rigs with at least 10" wide rims to get the full benifit out of them.
that being said i still prefer swampers. might go back to boggers one day, but i'm very happy with swampers

I'm on my 4th set of Simex's and love'em.
I run over rocks @ 8lb no worries and scream through mud.
I drive with other 4by's running Claws, Swampers, Boggers & Maxxis tires and they all do very well. In my opinion there is not a single tire that is by far way better than all the others.
The 3 lug Simex is a better tire for playing on rock as well they are awesome in the goopy stuff but they do wear when on the black top for long periods and side wall strength is massive never ripped one yet & on 8lbs mine don't bag, you just get a longer foot print.
