GQ PATROL NEED SOME INFO ON CONVERTING TO STRAIGHT GAS

Post by narns1mav »

hi I have a gq lwb on pet / gas

its mostly a bush vehicle i.e. mainly only on road to and from bush

I am thinking about going to straight gas

as in removing the carby and just having a throttle body

and removing the " coffin " tank and putting another gastank there

just hoping to get some opinions regarding anything about this install

or different ideas

also has any one done this and how did it turn out and is there a tank available to replace the "coffin" tank

as for gas availability i mainly go around the vic high country

thanks in advance

As long as you only go places where LPG is readily available... As I'm sure you're aware, you can't carry a jerry filled with propane.
