Dust Deflectors on a GU

Post by Nissanman »

Has anyone got any experience with a dust deflector on the back of the roof of a GU? Do they help reduce dust? Increase noise? Increase fuel consumption?
Thanks.

PS Just started an online business selling GPS's, car navigation units, Hema maps, camera's etc. too www.handheldsystems.com.au

I've been looking for one too, if you can find a good one at a good price please share.
I found some on ebay for $100 but not sure on the quality.

I got mine from a Nissan dealer in Perth for $96 including gst about 6 months ago. Does a good job of keeping the window clean. Haven't noticed any noise coming from it. Not sure about fuel consumption, wouldn't imagine there to be a noticable difference.
