Thanks to the On All 4's team for putting on sucha a fantastic show. Over 1500 cars came in the gate. Apart from two difficult, extremely long recoveries, it all went pretty smoothly.

Jamie, you have outdone yourself once again - it just keeps getting better (especially when I got a good drive in as well)

Thanks heaps guys.

Gonads hit the bunting early in Stage 2 and was out. As he was just about the last car, they let him drive the rest of the track as an exhibition, but he damaged his transfer going up the second hill and stopped before it broke.

Cookie got disqualified because as he was winching up the hill, he was driving with the winch and thats when he did the wheelstand and he was actually going backwards down the hill. At the same time his navigator was holding onto the winch cable without gloves trying to pull in the slack. It was judged to be unsafe procedure.

Great event.. well worth the trip down from Brisbane..

I've posted some pics at http://www.4wdlinks.com.au/gallery/woodpecker2003

Most are video stills so the quality isn't that great.. I'll try to get some vids online within the next few days..

Sorry gadget but this is incorrect. Cookie did not have the cable connected whilst on the main part of stage two hill, where he did the wheelstand. He had the winch on right at the top. I've got 13 pics of him on that hill and non of them have the cable pulled out.

This is the last one worth posting, some are of the same action sequence as the first batch i posted, but they are all different. If anyone wants more of any particular truck PM me and i'll see what i've got. Wooders i'll email you tonight with all the heep ones i've got.

Since it seems Ruff and Nick came down anyway, i'm assuming they got video of the action. Sooo anyone from outside NSW that would like to see the 1.5hrs of video that we took... post here, first one to post and then PM me their address will get it first, then it's up to them to send it on. I'll mail it tomorrow so you'll hopefully get it by the weekend.

I also wanted to say thanks to jamie and all the other organisers. It was a fantastic event that ran very smoothly.... can't wait for next time !! :D

Great pics Jeremy!

I had a ball on the weekend and am still feeling the pain today after running up and down those hills a few hundred times. Tired but still grinning.

We managed to be in the right place the majority of the time and got all the rolls and other juicy action on film.

Shane plans to have the ORP vid out in about 3 months.
