gearbox t/case oil level

i think my oil seal separating the gearbox and t/case has let go. ive heard about a setup running between the two to level the oil out has anyone done this or explain to me how this is done thanks chris

connect the two filler holes up with some tube. That way the oil level will equalise between the two. I was going to buy new filler plugs, drill holes in them and braze fittings on and buy some tube etc etc and then found out that my local parts shop sold the complete kit with hose and fittings. Can't remember the price.

Ruggers I got one fitted as a precaution from the PO.You can buy them from any good 4x4 shop well under $50 .Did you take the filler plug out of gearbox and the oil pissed out like it was overfilled?
