Hi there I am new on here, and I have a question to start with!
I have a 1997 Uk Shogun 3.0ltr 24V SWB.
I am about to change the Fuel Filter, anything I have to watch out for or is this a pretty straight forward task.

Cover your eyes when you loosen off the bolts holding the pipes on. Petrol in them really stings...
Tecnically I am meant to say, take the black cover off in the rear floor and unplug the pump and run it till it stalls to get rid of the pressure then undo things.
And check it doesn't leak when you put it all back together - they have a habit of doing so.

I replaced the Fuel Filter on an 89 Pajero 3.0 v6 yesterday. After slightly unscrewing the inlet, I clamped off the inlet pipe to prevent fuel from on spraying everywhere. I used flat nose vice grips, as I did not have proper plastic clamps that can be bought) and went about swapping old for new. Protective glasses helped initially though!
