Just looking at what thickness steel people use for the rear wall of wagon chops.
I have a GQ and still doing some research.
Cheers Nick

I don't have any bracing inti at all. I used as much of the C pillar as possible and then filled in the hole. To reinforce the bottom of the window I used a piece of 50x50x3 angle. The bottom of the window is a folded piece of sheet that is cut on a curve, so that the back wall has a curve in the whole thing to stop it flexing. The back window is polycarb and uses the rear door frame for the top and sides.
The back wall doesn't move at all and has been inspected by an engineer. I have also fitted some 3mm plates to it as this is where the harness attaches as I have an exo cage. On the inside I've glued a piece of plywood to attach all the winch solenoids and a fair amount of other electrics. It isn't very pretty but it is very very effective.
