Coilovers - Legality for Road use

Just a query for the educated guys out there

Can coilovers be engineered for use in a road registered car in vic
OR are they pretty much for the hardcore offroad sort of stuff

I don't believe there is a problem with coilovers. Like anything though, you have to speak to the engineer BEFORE you start.

You can in NSW so there is a good chance you can in Victoria but it would pay to check with an engineer first though.

saw a gu on the road with them today, i dont know if he was engineered, but id hope so.
