1st thing you've got to do is get those 31s off the Zuk and onto the TJ!
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).

Very nice stu!!!! Also you gotta start stripping all those plastic bits off, they'll just get pulled off on the trail anyway. :)

Welcome to the Jeep family and don't pay any attention to what any of those jelious Toyo and Nissian drivers say.

i plan to have two sets of tyres, one for off road on 15 X 8 (allowing for tyre upgrade in future) and i'l keep the stock rims and find a second hand set of road tyres for them.

i'll run the 31's on new rims till i do though.

Hmmm interesting signature you have there buddy.... Since when are jeep owners "pretentious" may I ask? We cant all be that bad considering you've gone off and bought yourself a TJ (good choice by the way) !

Came from a not so enthusiastic reply I received from another zook driver about his interpretation of jeeps and their owners.

I took it with a grain of salt.

keep up, over take and run rings around the rangie.

i saw him on sunday, he said that he was pleasedl, thinks it over revs but i mentioned that the gearing is good for 31 - 32's not the tiny rings i sold it with.

i also mentioned that after building / driving / repairing the thing for the last 5 years i felt it sad is it drove off around the corner never to be seen again. (Thinking this as i took off in my new air conditioned, 4ltr straight 6 with the music thumping and front seats like a couch jeep.)

He definately wont be overtakin me in a hurry... my other mates got a purple tray back with a 1.6 in it and I still got ahead of him when we had a drag (i was fully loaded with camping shit too) :finger:

But i gave a full underbody inspection of the beast and this weekend when Jimmy isnt looking I am gonna take out the sway bars and get dimensions for his from and rear suspension bushes so I can make up some holey bushes for it    I gonna put the old shocks off the Rangie in it too..........

well my friends used to ask me what the sticker on the back of my wrangler "its a jeep thing, you wouldnt understand!" ment....they eventually told me that it they now understand what the jeep thing is...that all jeep drivers are rude, for the fact that none of them would ever wave back to them on the beach as they drove past....lol
