Hi, over the last 12 months i've noticed that my $100 worth of petrol is not getting me as many km's it did when i bought it.I keep it well tuned but every couple of weeks/months it gets worse ,anyone else with this problem and any ideas on how to fix ?. Its a 4.2 petrol if that helps any.

Lol. I have noticed the same problem in my diesel. Weird.

same here with my diesel
GQ TD42 Family truck 2 inch lift,uhf,dvd,gps,arb front bar,ipf lights,little 31/10.5 rear factory locker.
Big plans later though!

yea ever since iv started paying 154.9 a litre, my $100 aint gettin me as far either... stuffed if i can work it out... maybe the diesel quality is going down?? :P

yeah, we are trying to plan a trip to Dorunda nera kurmba and works out about $2k for fuel in a GQ diesel and i can only cart enough fuel for 1 way, so if i cant find any takeaway joints itll cost me about 1k

Have 2 spare seats if anyoone intrersted.

I got a 3 litre, did the same thing, till after a service, was getting only 750km a tank over the nullabor when I usually got 850, 900... on the way back for the third time I did a service and got all good stuff... economy went back up, only 50km a tank but a huge difference when your paying a little over $180 to fill up... dunno what causes it
You can't kill a 60... Believe me... I've tried...
In the end, you can... drive a gu now... still want a 60

Yeah I`ve noticed if you put the foot down you get even less for 100 dollars. Can`t understand that cos you`re gettin there quicker :lol:
