im lookin at putin some lift in me cruiser but carnt diside what to go!!!! im wanting to do eather a 4" suspention or just 2' suspention and 2" body lift!!!! whats cheaper or better to go with!!! i do a lot of road driveing the main offroad work is rocky shail hills steep up and down!!! mudd a bit of off camber stuff and steep clay hills and play around in toolangi and places like that as well!!!! i will b running 35* 10.5 or 12.5 15s and i have the standard 91 80 with standard diesal in it!!! so what do u think is best?????????????????????cheers

I am no Cruiser expert but a 4" suspension lift will require enginering.
Maybe not in Vic don't know, 2+2 won't.
4" lift will give better flex as well.
4" suspension is the way I would go but the price difference compared to a 2+2 might scare you a bit after you add up all the extra bits you will need for a 4" suspension lift done properly

Ive got 2 and 2 in my 80 and I love it.
Still drives great.
No road worthy issues
No engineers need
all sway bars etc are still on as it does way more road work then bush work.
I can fit 36's under it but they would rub a bit. I just run my Q78's under it for off raod work and I haven't noticed them rub once. I run 35's for road.

Go 4 inch suspension, get the better flex and travel. Just call it 2 inch suspension and 2 inch body if it make sit easier for legality issues. Old mate is right however - 6 inch lift and be done with it... I don't think price will vary too much (get some quotes to find out), just have to watch steering and drivetrain issues are sorted properly. You will never be happy if you go small and would love big.
