97-98 3.0L diesel hiluxs.

Post by cody82 »

G'day all I am in the process of buying a 3.0L dieslel dual cab hilux which I am finding quite hard because they sell faster then anything (the good ones anyway) and have been seeing quite a few with reco engines at around 150 000 or so clicks. Is this just due to bad maintenence or was there something about these diesel engines I dont know??
Also if I want to do and get a turbo installed later is this wise if the engine has already done in excess of 150 000 due to old age etc... Anything else about these 4x4's is welcome feed back!

Cheers Cody.
