Burnt gearbox oil has anybody had this problem as when i went to check the oil its burnt. Wtf anybody know why it still works great but :bad-words: oil :?:

What makes you say it's burnt? Is it black?

How often do you change it?

To turn gearbox oil black in a manual would take masses of heat - enough I think you wouldn't be able to put your hand on the tunnel.

It smells burnt and i change it every 10 thousand with my diff oils .And it is black as :cry:

are you using the correct oil?
1999 SQ625 Manual Grand Vitara. Lifted, Twin Locked, 31' Extremes, dual Batteries, Winch.
Lots of custom gear as I cant afford the proper stuff.
