Hello all, I have spent a little time searching, But have not come up with any instructions on how easy or hard it is to do a self installation of drop boxes on an 89 gq swb patrol. Currently running 4" Spring lift & 3" Body with No castor correction whatsoever.
Have 2 drop boxes, & not a whole lot of coin @ the moment to spare getting a shop to put them on. Q' how hard is it to install them? I have pretty much all the Basic tools & Jack's & Such. Just not alot of mechanical ability...
Any info much appreciated

Self Install of Drop Boxes
undo the panhard and draglink on the diff end.
undo the radius arm bolts from the chassis end
pull (requires alot of force somethimes) the diff forward till the radius arms fall out.
place jack under tansmission crossmember and take up the load onto the jack
undo trans crossmember bolts and lower jack slightly
slip drop boxes in on the correct sides
place bolts loosely back in
(if using superior or similar)
bolt in aloy spacer and bolt into the original radius arm mount
do crossmember bolts back up tight
put diff in new location
do up radius arm bolts
re attach draglink and panhard
test drive
NOTE
some cars the front tailshaft wont be long enough and may need to be removed to put in drop boxes.
